Today was the first day I took both JH and MM down to the fields at the same time. I need to change MM’s perch to make it easier to grip; it needs more carpet around it. At first he was a little jumpy but he did settle down and rode nicely. I flew JH first and hunted 3 fields with many close calls but he did not connect.

MM seems to like the fact that he is free flying and getting a good feeding at the end. He will fly a good distance to me and is coming in nicely without slamming into the glove. He is still showing a lot of interest in the jacks and took a number of long slips. He is a very aerial eagle and seems to like being in the air. Because of the fact that he is a total imprint I am going to bag him on a jack as soon as I catch one.
