Joe and Cordi Atkinson have been teaching golden eagles how to survive on their own for years and have returned dozens of young eagles back to the wild. They say, “Watching a young, inexperienced golden eagle learn the ways of the wild is truly a rewarding experience. The hardest thing is to know when the time is right to let them go but eagles have a way of telling you”. Their eagles have appeared on many outstanding nature programs including PBS, Nature, National Geographic, Nat Geo Wild, Nat Geo TV and the Cornell University Lab of Ornithology film department. Cordi is an internationally published photographer and videographer. Her photographs and film clips have been shown worldwide. Joe is an internationally published author and world recognized eagle falconer. Cordi and Joe are also co-founders of CorJo Wildlife Productions, which produces highly acclaimed educational falconry videos. They live on their ranch in Vale, Oregon surrounded by their beloved animals.
